A COMMUNITY OF HOPE, JUSTICE AND GOOD NEWS
Our new priest
David Strang, Chair of the Trustees at Mustard Seed says:
"We are delighted to announce that Diana Hall has accepted our invitation to become the new Priest-in-Charge at Mustard Seed and St Margaret's. Diana is currently the Rector of St Anne's Church in Dunbar. We are so looking forward to her joining us, as we enter the next phase of our life at Mustard Seed together."
Diana shares some words with us:
"I'm delighted to be called to join you on this new adventure, and I look forward to getting to know you all. The Mustard Seed values - kindness, hospitality, justice, creativity and joy - are Gospel qualities that the world badly needs. I'm excited to listen with you, to how the Holy Spirit is calling us to live them out in the community. Over the next few months, as I prepare to move to Leith, I'll be praying for you. Please pray for me too."
We will welcome Diana in an installation ceremony at Mustard Seed and St Margaret's in May.

everyONE welcome
Welcome to Mustard Seed!
We are a church based on Easter Road in Leith, Edinburgh.
We were commissioned by Bishop John in 2017 to be a Community of Mission within the Scottish Episcopal Church, encouraging each other to better live out the life that Jesus calls us to in our church, in our neighbourhood and in our personal relationship with God.
We strive to be welcoming, affirming and inclusive, a place of flourishing for all, regardless of socioeconomic status, sexuality, age, ability, race and life experiences, whether exploring faith, doubting or firm in beliefs. We recognise that we are all on a faith journey and want to support each other on that journey.
